Best of the Trilogy?

They're showing "Flesh", "Trash" and "Heat" on cable TV over here, and I'm taping them.

I was wondering what was everyone's favourite of the three films?

reply

I can't decide if my favorite is 'Flesh' or 'Heat'. I preffer those two over 'Trash'. Of corse 'Dracula' and 'Frankenstein' are my picks after those three.

reply

Flesh most definitely. I saw Trash and Heat, but prefer Flesh which I believe is the beautiful Joe's best work.

I haven't seen Heat yet but I'm not sure if Trash or Flesh is better... I think I actually liked Trash better, although some parts, for me, were distrubing.

what is this Trilogy Called???porno trilogy?

reply

Now that I've seen them all, I'd probably rank them 1-Trash, 2-Flesh, 3-Heat. I defiantly think Trash is the best, it's the funniest and has a great dramatic elements too. The acting is pretty good too (well for this kind of movie). Flesh I think is the best visually and Heat is funny too, and probably the most watchable for mainstream audiences, but I just don't think it's as great as the others.

What a stupid sentence. Flesh, Trash and Heat are not porno movies!
They are THE LIFE, shown with a minimalist point of view that is simply FANTASTIC!
They are masterpieces, and an average vote under 6 is really a shame.

I prefer Trash because is more funny and crazy, but visually and tecnically the greatest is Flesh.

Totius, I agree completely.

I realize I'm coming waaaaaaay late into this conversation, but my favorite is definitely "Heat". To me, it's the funniest - with (insane, sad) Andrea Feldman, and Sylvia Miles. And the story's the most interesting, with that "Sunset Boulevard for losers" thing going on. "A star?!? Mousetime USA?!?"

Though "Trash" comes in a close second ... ah, Holly Woodlawn ...
