reply

Hey, that's a very impressive list of hot men you have and, gosh, most of them listed are among my favorites too and at the age where I liked them most as well. Even before Sean Astin became a Hobbit!!!! Here is my list:

1. Joe Dallesandro (young and during the time he was filming "Flesh").

2. Mark Wahlberg (when he starred in "Planet of the Apes" and when all he did was show off his muscular body during his Marky Mark days).

3. Michael McManus ( at any age, but most notably when he played super sexy terrorist Brent in the "Squamish Five" movie. Watching him in that role was a real erotic experience. Just loved how he made his voice so gruff when preaching his radical views and how he acted so macho and so 'manly'. Whew! I love the man)

4. Errol Flynn (when he was in 1939's Robin Hood).

5. Brad Davis (may he RIP, but the shot in "Midnight Express" where he's standing buck naked with his fingers laced behind his head after his arrest, was one of the most erotic scenes I ever saw in a film)

6. Matt LeBlanc (not so much when he's doing comedy, but when he's performing serious roles and makes his voice really deep like in "Lost In Space".

7. Christopher Meloni as 'Chris' Keller in OZ.

8. Danny Nucci (his performance as that cheerful little Italian in "Titanic")

9. Terence Knox (when he played Sgt. Zeke in the 1987 TV series "Tour Of Duty")

10. Thomas Jane (beautiful chest)

I was a huge fan of OZ btw. Well mrs olsen, since it's just been 98% of just us on the board, who do you think the hottest rock star of all time is? I say Jim Morrison and 2nd is Axl Rose.

I was only 14 when Guns N Roses came out and Axl Rose is and has only been the only rock I was ever in love with. What about you?

As far as actors go, I did forget to mention Thomas Jane. He's hot.

Ewan Mcgregor.(especially in Velvet Goldmine, when he's doing the show. I love it when he's pulling his leather pants back up and you see his nice bum.

Vincent Perez is another hot actor.

Viggo Mortensen is another hot one!

As far as the older actors go, I always thought that Maximilian Schell was pretty hot.

Errol Flynn was pretty good looking for his day. I also thought that Robert Montgomery was good looking too.

If I think of some more I'll post them.

Cheers!

Why yes, it would appear we two are indeed making up 98% of the board. Viggo is a nice juicy choice there. Absolutely adored him in Lord Of The Rings. As for older actors, I think Jeffrey Hunter was extremely handsome. Such a shame he died back in 1969. Spotted him in a 1950s western last week and, oh, his handsomeness was just so prominent. As for my favorite rock star, lets see, I think it would be Jon Bon Jovi. Was always attracted to him. Also loved his guest appearance on "Sex and the City." He is very, very sexy. I used to admire Bruce Springsteen, back when he did his "Dancing In The Dark" video in 1984, when he was strutting around the stage in his tight jeans and shaking his rump at the audience. Also like the Canadian singer Colin James. True, he's not very handsome, but oh, he has such a nice muscular bum.

Viggo in Lord of the Rings.....hot! hot! hot! Honestly, I almost prefer him with the dark hair.

If I'm not mistaken, Jeffery Hunter was in some old Star Trek episodes. I remember way back when watching those episodes with my mother and her talking about how handsome he was. I thought so too. Don't get it wrong about how that sounds. I'm 32. I'm not a spring chicken anymore!

Jon Bon Jovi has always been attractive. I have to give him credit for maintaining his looks over the years. I don't think he looks too much older than he looked in the 80's.

Actually I thought Rick Springfield looked good a long time ago.

As far as actors go I thought Marlon Brando was handsome when he was young.

If I think of more hot men, I'll post them.

Cheers!

I just saw a young Alex McArthur on tv the other day. I had forgotten how hot I use to think he was.

I know I should probably talk about Joe Dallesandro but James Dean is the hottest actor ever.

I am a newcomer to Joe Dallesandro. I just discovered him a couple of days ago, and I have to say that he is, without a doubt, the most beautiful man I have ever laid eyes on. He would make Adonis wilt in the glow of his radiance. I am usually more attracted to beautiful black men, but this guy trumps them all. I have seriously tried to think of someone who is/was more beautiful, and I can't think of anyone. Michael Schoeffling would be the closest second.

There are many men with beautiful faces and many men with beautiful bodies, but no one with this extent of both. I am in the thrall of Joe.

If you're looking for someone hot in a "Joe" kind of way, take a look at Michael Pitt. He has the same sort of nonchalant demeanor and a similar unconcern with modesty. Take a look at him in Hedwig and the Angry Inch or Bully or The Dreamers. He isn't quite the hunk that Joe was back in the day, but he's a looker all the same.

Well ya know, there were a few other hot men that showed up in Warhol/Morrissey films. My favorites in order:

1. Paul America (My Hustler)
2. Tom Baker (I a Man)
3. Tosh Carillo (Vinyl)
4. Tom Hompertz (Lonesome Cowboys)
5. Martin Kove (Women in Revolt)
6. Louis Waldon (Flesh, Lonesome Cowboys)
7. Gerard Malanga (Vinyl)
8. Joe Campbell (My Hustler)

These guys get overlooked I think because Joe has so much more screen time in the trilogy and because most of the other films are so hard to come by. Paul America's wily naïf in My Hustler is fascinating and Tom Baker's persistent horndog in I a Man is eye-catching even though he's very annoying. Leaving aside his sadistic role in Vinyl, Tosh Carillo's prep school boyishness isn't the standard idea of what's hot, but he's really pretty.
