Is James Dean on this film?
If u've seen the movie, u know the dude, who gets Hanged, the Farm boy, he really looks like james Dean. Isn't he James Dean?

shareYeah, J. Robert Porter in this film really had the look and mannerisms of James Dean. I have this question: Did he have that James Dean look in other roles that he played, or did he find his own style in other performances?
He does undergo quite a transformation from "Firecreek" in his role in "Mackenna's Gold". He's seated next to Anthony Quayle at @.59 in this clip:

I too agree that Porter resembles James Dean in this film. It would be interesting to see other films that feature Porter.
