FANGS OF THE LIVING DEAD triple bill

In the early 70's, there was an infamous triple bill frequenting drive-ins around the US, the TV commercial featuring an unfortunate patron now in a strait-jacket after viewing all three, heavily edited foreign titles. Amando de Ossorio's MALENKA was retitled FANGS OF THE LIVING DEAD, REVENGE OF THE LIVING DEAD was actually THE MURDER CLINIC(1966), and CURSE OF THE LIVING DEAD was actually Mario Bava's KILL BABY KILL(1966). FANGS OF THE LIVING DEAD made the rounds on Pittsburgh's CHILLER THEATER in the late 70's, that's when I first saw it.

Thanks so much for this info! I've been searching for this for a long time. (The poster too!)

The poster was published in the 1982 book on exploitation films written by Richard Meyers, FOR ONE WEEK ONLY! The trailer for the triple bill is available on the Mario Bava Collection Box Set Volume 1, according to achoj marek (in my message board for KILL BABY KILL). I have the VCI box set with THE WHIP AND THE BODY, BLOOD AND BLACK LACE, and KILL BABY KILL, and it's nowhere to be found on that one.

Thanks, Chongajuly, for bring back pleasant memories. I saw that triple feature in a theater in downtown Houston, Texas, after a dentist's appointment. Thursday was my usual day off from work so the rest of the day and I could either do something useful or go see three scary movies for the price of one. Needless to say, I made the right decision 😊

Look up ORGY OF THE LIVING DEAD triple bill on YouTube and you can see the famous trailer there. FANGS OF THE LIVING DEAD and THE MURDER CLINIC are available in English.

Yes, I remember seeing this triple bill in it's original run. Must have made an impression on me. I picked up the poster on ebay a few years ago.
