anyone else find it strange

im watching enter the game of death, and there was just a scene were they were filming a movie and the director says "now these guns are full of blanks, only fire up cause there are paper wads in then that could injure someone"

then when they start shooting the scene, the guy shoots bruce lee in the face.

now does anyone else find it weird that is how bruce lee's son died on the set of The Crow
