Murder is sure fun to sing about

Wow. I was not expecting a musical number describing the gruesome details of a horrible murder an hour into this movie. What a weird digression that added nothing to the plot. And yet, strangely fun.

It's what convinced me to stay with it. Gorgeous color and perky murder conversation. This film is beyond description.

I used to get stoned, turn on the TV and wander into films like "Johnny Guitar" and "Cobra Woman" and then need someone to watch it with me later just to confirm the madness I'd witnessed. This one might drive me back to the bong!

I did that with a movie called "Poor Pretty Eddie". A grindhouse classic. It's pretty F-ed up!

I think it added something.

The whole film is about finding true love. And then you have this character who tries for forty years to get this girl that constantly rejects him... with horrible consequences.

Dark humor...
