Is this the one with Caine in Clown face

I have been trying to find the movie I saw years and years ago with Caine in clown makeup. It was a suspense/thriller/myster type. The only scene I remember has Caine climbing the walls of a large mansion (and I am not even sure I have that remembered correctly.)

You seem to be mixing up SLEUTH with this film. In SLEUTH Caine wears clown makeup. In DEADFALL , he scales a wall ( at least once maybe more) while committing a burglary.
