the average number of votes for most films seems to be 20 - 40. Look how many DEADFALL (1968) has! Vote for Region 1 there.
Secondly, call 20th Century Fox, London: 0207 437 7766 & ask DVD catalogue people there when the DVD will be out Region 2. It will happen, but we must work for it! Very best to all.
I just called Fox. Music clearance is delaying the DVD but it should be out soon!

shareIt's ironic that music clearance is holding up the DVD. When John Barry was scoring Deadfall, he had a local group performing some music for the party scene. Then they found out the group didn't have clearance for the songs, so instead used music from "Beat Girl", a film Barry had previously scored and was controlled by the same music publisher. I imagine it's now this music which is causing the hold up, probably because the publisher has changed ownership.
