How about a Coen bros directed version?

I just finished reading the Wilbur Smith novel, and I think that it's ripe for a more faithful adaptation by the Coen bros. They made the new True Grit better than the John Wayne version and this material seems right up their alley. I really like the Dark of the Sun movie we have, so don't think I'm crapping on it. :) Just throwing the suggestion out there.

Their version of True Grit may have followed the novel more closely, but it was nowhere near as fun and entertaining as the 1969 original. The Cohen Bros. Should stick to doing what they do best, original works not remakes. They would must likely make a drab version of this... leave it alone

Oh Lord, you gave them eyes but they cannot see...
