Good, but I didn't like it as well as the first

The whole film seemed slower to me, and I think I also might not have been as captivated because it's one of those sequels that's basically a rewrite of the first film. All the same plot elements are present in a very general way--there's a political coup, exiles, the exiles are captured/imprisoned and threatened with execution, etc, as if using the first film as a formula or template. The Daimajin "monster" climax was slower and not as well structured/choreographed in my opinion, too. But not bad overall--I still gave it a 7/10 this time.
