Which is 'Return' and which is 'Wrath'?

The original Japanese opening title says "Daimajin Ikaru" has him on an island, but the subtitles say "Return of Daimajin".

Wrath has him on an island in the middle of a lake.. it was also released as Return of the Giant Majin.. which is how it was shown on tv.. return of majin was never on tv.. it features 4 kids crossing Majin Mountain.. it has children dying, child suicide, murder by sulphur pit.. all types of things that kept it shelved.. although, when watched it could be argued that it's the best of the three.. main villan deaths... Majin.. crucified and spiked!! Wrath of Majin... caught on sails of a boat and semi-crucified while being burned alive... Return of Majin.. A giant sword is shoved through him... these movies didn't play around when it came to dispatching the bad guys..

I think that individually or as a series.. these are some of the best Kaiju films. Very well done.. and it remains a mystery why there weren't more..

According to the Blu-rays (and IMDB), "Return" is the second movie (with the island) and "Wrath" the last one (with the kids on the mountain) :-)

The ADV release of a DVD box set of the Daimajin trilogy in 2003 offered all three films in the series. But Disc 2, which is labeled RETURN OF DAIMAJIN, both on the disc and in the onscreen subtitles, really gives us the third film, WRATH OF DAIMAJIN, while Disc 3, which is labeled WRATH OF DAIMAJIN, onscreen title being THE WRATH OF DAIMAJIN, is really RETURN OF DAIMAJIN, the second film in the series. So, after watching the films, I came to IMDB for cast and credit info and got very confused seeing the info for one film being supplied for the other. The confusion extends to the reviews here, one of which covers the third film while the others correctly cover the second.
