In what is barely a cameo role in lets face it, a pretty non-descript movie, Robert Ryan gives a performance that truly showed his talent and professionalism in this film..I wonder why he even took the small role..bt his interaction with both Jeffrey Hunter and Robert Shaw was really top notch...I loved him as an actor and marvel at the range of characters he took part in..whether a "bad guy or a good guy"..whatever the role he brought a great feel to the part..I really think he is 1 of the all time greats!
