Very Very :-)

I noticed a mistake in the movie!! At the beginning when Charly is at the clinic w/ Mrs. Kinnean asking him questions, and then he makes a face in the mirronr ( which is really "recording" him) she says " that is a VERY VERY funny face Charly." Well, later on in the movie when they show the film of retarded Charly at the conference, he makes a face and then Mrs. Kinnean says "that is a VERY funny face" . So i guess they didn't really record it... because it's missing a VERY. I know you guys must think i'm VERY weird to notice this. :-)

No, you're right, it's true. Also when Charly takes out his rabbit foot at the footage during the convention, Alice says "That's VERY good..." when earlier, she had said, "That's good, Charly." I'm madly in love with this movie. But poor darling, if you really loved this movie, then maybe you would have spelled KINNIAN properly! Allow me to correct you:
"That's very good, there's only one thing wrong; it's the word..." KINNIAN, "...I know it sounds like..." K-I-N-E-A-N, "...but we spell it..." K-I-N-N-I-A-N.
Did you enjoy my phrasing? Also pay attention to the way Alice says "Morning..." the second time. Claire Bloom (!!!) does a better job at hiding her British accent while saying "morning" in the footage.

CLAIRE BLOOM IS AMAZING.

This actually happens a lot in movies when they return to something that happened earlier. Trying to think of a case off the top of my head...Blade Runner, the Holden/Leon VK test at the beginning. When you listen to it being "replayed", you can tell from the way they say some lines in the replays it's not the way they were said at the beginning. Not sure why they do this. For Charly, maybe because back in '68, I know it was very expensive to run video replay and it may not have been in the budget. This couldn't have been the reason for Blade Runner since the budget on that obviously wasn't an issue and by '82 technology had changed. For BR, perhaps the original VK test was filmed later (since filming in sequence isn't the norm) so they had to re-do it?

Yeah.
