This is, without a doubt, one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I've seen some pretty bad ones and I actually liked some of them, but this was not enjoyable at all. It is not funny or entertaining and the acting is atrocious. The dialogue is terrible too. The movie is genuinely offensive on several different levels. The only decent elements are the music and cinematography, which I felt were pretty good. I would not recommend this film to anyone. I rate it a low 2/10.
shareThere are a few genuinely amusing scenes in this oddball late 60's curiosity; the girl is winsome and the cast is stellar, particularly Brando as the guru in the last act (who never looked better, just before he started to get fat in the 70s-80s). Other than that, you're right -- "Candy" is (surprisingly) a dreadful bore. I gave it a 4/10.

I agree, it was horrible. A very looooooong 100 minutes to sit through. You'd think with someone as cute as Ewa Aulin it would be watchable. But no.
