The Boston Strangler or Frenzy

For me The Boston Strangler.

The Boston Strangler for me too.

I love nearly all Hitchcock films, but with Frenzy (except for some innocently humorous moments) Hitch was really nasty against the female victims. But wonderful music, a good cast, and London was lovely photographed. That said, I'm gonna watch it again.

In The Boston Strangler, the poor victims were hellishly mistreated, but not by the makers. Even DeSalvo was shown as a human being, and I really felt sad when he lost it at the end. A very well-written film and ending, I should add. Great acting by Curtis, Fonda, Marshall, etc.

To me Hitchcock's best days were long behind him by the time he did Frenzy. I definitely prefer The Boston Strangler.

My body's a cage, it's been used and abused...and I...LIKE IT!!
