Fantastic movie, so where's the DVD? Anyone got any info? It's on my wish list. Wanna make a wish come true?

This movie has got to be one of the funniest movies i have ever seen. it was so well done for it's day.
my fav monent is blackbeard on the motor bike(chasing the cop) " Think you can get away from me do ya" and " what manor of craft be this we're crusing in? what? this craft? oh an automobile. ehh? an automobile. oh is it. yes auto matounous"

I can help. It is availiable (or at least was when I purchased it) We used to seel quite a few copies in the supermarket where I worked. Look on Amazon.com I can almost gaurentee you will find it there

I was able to check out the DVD from my local public library.

We were able to find it at Walmart.
We recently rewatched it this past weekend. Love it!

I got the DVD at Best Buy w while back. Glad to see it on DVD too bad it's a REALLY bad transfer. Lots of scratches and debris but just glad to finally put to rest my old taped from TV VHS tape hah.

Damn, I spilled my Big Gulp!

It is available at Amazon. com but beware: it is not widescreen. Those who attended the theater in '68 viewed it at 1.75:1. We today should get that same experience, don't you think so? I will refrain from buying anything but widescreen and it is sad that I can't buy "Blackbeards Ghost" until they release it the way it was meant to be seen!

HMC just aired it in widescreen, but with a ton of commercials.

the copy i bought is a really bad transfer, but that's what disney has put out. I wish they had brought out a aniversary edition out in 2008 but no luck.
