Okay, this is a caper comedy, which like the original Ocean's 11, Topkapi, Grand Slam, etc, means the villains can not get away with the loot. Fine. But I swear many, many years ago I saw virtually the same ending in a black and white movie. The villains accidentally "bombed" a poor village with their cash. Anyone else ever seen this?

shareFive years late with this, but it WASN'T Mad, Mad, World. The money in that one didn't fall anywhere NEAR a poor village. The OP was on the right track; there IS and old black & white movie with that ending, but the name of it eludes me as I type this. Maybe one day it'll come back to me,
