Starts Off Soooooo BAD!!!!

How many have started this film and pulled the plug in the first 15 minutes??? Honestly at first blush this film looks like a TOTAL STINKER! Consider this ...

- The worst/most inappropriate opening song I have ever seen in a film
- Filthy soldier (Meechum) walking through a magnificent Italian castle (spotless)
- Filthy soldiers rioting in magnificent Italian castle ... literally destroying Italian antiquities (and what a poor portrayal of the American soldier)
- American reporter badgering Army Generals (totally unbelievable)
- Extended scene in which Peter Faulk character and three prostitutes party in an ambulance (goes on for 10 minutes)
- Relentless dumbass humor

Those with a slow trigger will tell you this film improved greatly after all the above. But man alive talk about a Director shooting himself in the foot!
