The flashing screens date this movie

It's funny how this movie is a very good simulation of how the future will look, but they messed up on the screens and computer displays, if you ask me.

I mean, a lot of them are cryptic texts and acronyms or whatever, with parts of the screen flashing so fast they almost flicker before fading, but this sort of thing just doesn't happen in our current tech. There was flashing text in the early days of the World Wide Web, but that's long disappeared, and modern phones and computers don't do that now, their displays are much more detailed.

Even Star Trek, which is usually good at predicting the future, didn't have flashing displays, as far as I recall.
