Bo Still the Police Commissioner?

I think the PP writers need to re-visit the final episodes of the original OLTL on ABC. Bo resigned as the police commissioner when the mayor (who replaced Dorian) fired him for rejecting her advances. Well, she had a good reason, I forgot what it was now. On GH, last year, they referenced Bo as the commissioner still and on the new OLTL he says he's the commissioner. Did they forget Bo resigned? And is Nora still the D.A.? I know most viewers won't remember but I have problems with Bo and Nora continuing in their roles as Police Commissioner and D.A. considering how they swept their son's first degree murder under the rug and let him get off scott free. It really ruined the integrity of the characters, especially Nora who was always so high and mighty.

I was wondering about Bo being the Commisioner also............they should at least explain how he got his job back

I agree, when Bo and Nora had their scenes the other day, I was confused about Bo's status as Police Commissioner. I figured there were so many story threads they needed to pick up from a year ago that they hadn't gotten around to explaining it yet.

Since the Gh seems canon, John told Anna that Bo was the commissioner though he also said he was at odds with Clint over what was being done to John to keep him away from Liam. Clint was apparently putting pressure on Bo, threatening his job if he let McBain back on the force over in Llanview. Anyways, bo has been Commissioner for months.

I agree about their integrity being ruined but I lost a bit of respect for Nora's integrity when she and Hank when he was DA got her daughter a light sentence for a murder they pinned on Todd and went after him legally full force for. This s much worse. They need to retcon someone else did that murder. I don't mind if it is a passing reference.

For downright amateur villains you birds win the nickel-plated hot dogs.

Yes, Hank did try to prosecute Todd, but he didn't willingly pin the murder on Todd. Todd was a legitimate suspect. And Rachel did go to prison. Nora was the one who was compromised because she tried to get Rachel to flee after learning the truth. Hank didn't go along with it.

Bo was a hypocrite for covering his son when he had no problem arresting his own father.

Still its good to see him back at is old job.

Actually, Bo did have a problem with arresting Asa. He hemmed and hawed on his decision and the day he decided to arrest Asa was the day he learned Asa died.
