The saddest thing is, it took 2 weeks for it to already get cut to 2

That just shows you how easy it is to cut a show with high costs that airs online...the audience can watch them at any time since daytime tv is one of those things you can't just catch it again if it's on a re-run unless you watch it online so people have to watch it when it's on or record it.

here, anyone can watch the show whenever they want. in fact they can just add it into their "watch later" section and end up watching a whole archive of episodes in one day...but that doesn't help the company of course.

they even put up the 1st episode on youtube already just to get people to hear about it being on hulu and itunes..

well if it gets cancelled by the end of the year or earlier, at least it ran for as long as it did...maybe wrap everything up with no cliff hangers this time

I don't really get why there is this push by PP to get viewers to watch the show on the same day as it is released? If the show contains the same ads and the same amount of ads throughout its run why does it matter when viewers watch it? It should matter if they watch it. I thought the whole point of this online viewing was to work around viewers skipping through ads due to time-shifting.

I've heard that it doesn't have the same ads, though. That the ads for same day viewing are different from the ads for weekend viewing (when most viewers were watching). Thus, PP was not delivering the viewers it promised the advertisers for same day.

That being said, I don't see how the reduction in releasing the episodes will force viewers to watch same day. Many will probably still watch on the weekends. Only they'll finish the episodes quicker.

If that is true I hope it is possible for PP to work out a new or revised deal with the advertisers. It would be a shame if this whole thing fell apart because PP misinterpreted when viewers would watch these shows.

And I agree, I don't think the reduction in episodes will encourage viewers to watch the show on the day they are released. They only thing I think the reduction in episodes will do is help viewers fall less behind on the shows.
