"Sometimes others will greet him on variation, such as his niece as 'Correct as usual, Uncle Friday,' his wife as 'Correct as usual, my King,' and his son, Prince Tuesday, as 'Correct as usual, my Papa.'"
Actually, I've never heard them say that. Prince Tuesday would call him "daddy" and Queen Sara, when addressed by him but not very often, would say, "correct, Friday."
Oh, and Lady Elaine never had to say that. She usually said something sarcastic, like, "correct, but not always, Friday," or "you know it is." She got a pass, for some reason.
King Friday is as kingly and royal as they come. He's very old fashioned, old school, and lives up to the expectations of a traditional king. Therefore, when he greets somebody, he doesn't say, "hi there, (name)". He would say, "(name), I presume?" It's the kingly thing to do.
