Seriously why hasn't this been remade?

Either as a new TV series or better yet a big-screen adaptation. Everything else is (or has been) and this series is ripe for state-of-the-art f/x etc. AND please - More hot giantesses!

Hollywood get on this ASAP!

It is true that Lost in Space was remade into a feature film. However, these recent posts allude to the new remake in the works for tv with a new cast. As of 2016, recent posts on Facebook Lost in Space groups all are discussing the new upcoming series.

If it were to be remade I would watch it out of curiosity. But like most remakes it would probably not be as good as the original.

It would have to be shown on an IMAX screen.

If its remade as a tv show make it a sci fi version of Gulliver's travels. First season is "Land of the Giants' then their space ship goes to a world where THEY are the "giants" and the populace is tiny.

They'd use CGI so maybe a lot cheaper than using giant scale items.
