I remember having a major crush on Scott Lancer when I was a kid. Whatever happened to the actor? IMDB has no info whatsoever.

Anyone know what he's up to these days or even if he's still alive?

I'd like to know too. Sure bet he's still alive - IMDb prides itself on being on top of that type of info. Like to see what he looks like at 71 (can you believe that???) Ok, IMDb -- do your stuff!

I. too, loved Wayne Maubders portrayal of Scott Lancer, the show was really good and I wish it could be released on DVD. Sure would like to know how Wayne's doing these days.

i belive wayne runs his own production company in los angeles making independent features, documentaries and instructional films

He had a small part in "Porky's" but that was 24 years ago.

As far as I know, Wayne has completely cut himself off from the acting industry and is no longer involved.

He and James Stacy are both still alive. Wayne is no longer in the acting biz. James is retired and living happily in CA. He appeared at a Lancer fan convention in 2004 looking very fit and well. James is now 70. Elizabeth Baur, who played Teresa, is also still alive.

Except that he lost an arm and a leg in a motorcycle accident. And wasn't that one of the reasons for the show's cancellation?

No....Lancer was not cancelled because of James' loss of limbs in that motorcycle accident.

Lancer went off the air in 1970 and James had his accident in 1973 or 1974.

James was always my favorite but Wayne was very very cute too.

I saw Porky's only because of Wayne being in it...it was a small role but he still looked good....Porky's on the other hand was awful!
