Americans Go Home!

I can't believe that some of these series (this one, Thriller, Tales of the Unexpected, etc.) felt the need to stick American actors in them to somehow make the episode more "appealing" or something. It didn't.

Screw you. Maybe all the awful English actors in American productions can go home and be in crisps commercials or something.

There is a fair exchange of actors across the Atlantic. In Journey to the Unknown I find the American leads absolutely superb with a special mention to David Hedison (whom I was use to seeing chewing the scenery on Voyage to the Bottom of The Sea) who I reckon did a terrific show here. But for goodness sake you cannot moan about the calibre of actors like Vera Miles, Patty Duke,Stephanie Powers etc who did their bit in making these shows rather special. Carol Lynley does not say a word(IIRC)in her one, but she is blooming marvelous and I for one glad she popped over to us in little ole England to make it.

They all had to have an American "star" to make it easier to sell to the US networks - hated that but it's simple economics for the producers

Half Irish, Half German - hated by all. But at least I'm not Welsh 

Mabel: you sound like a petulant child wincing. Altogether unappealing and immature as an adult with stunted mental growth.
