Al's Apartment

I was wondering where in Washington DC Al's apartment in season 2 was supposed to be. I know they didn't shot on location, but I was curious if they ever said on the show. In "Boom at the Top" he mentions being four minutes from the Embassies which would place him near Dupont Circle. I thought maybe he lived in Georgetown. I love this show, and I'm so glad I get Antenna TV so I can watch it.

Ironies of ironies - it's still in the Watergate complex.
If the shades to the dining room (alcove) are open, you can see the Washington Monument. You can also tell by the establishing shot - it's the Watergate.
The layout of the apt may change, but it's basically the same apt.
As with any 1960-1970's tv show, don't put too much creedence in their continuity
The mansion probably was in Georgetown.

Thanks! I thought the establishing shot looked like the Watergate, but I thought, no, it couldn't be. Can't you just see Al reading the news the day after the break-in, shaking his head, and saying "amatuers," or having whomever his handler was at the time tell him about a break-in at the hotel, and Al saying "I promise, I had nothing to do with it. I was in my apartment all night. You can ask Shelia."

I know this post is old, but I just wanted to add that I thought it looked something like Watergate. Love the apartment.
