We laughed then...and I am still laughing today!

One of my favorite episodes, was "To Catch A Roaring Lion," featuring
African-American actress, Denise Nicholas; and actor, Brock Peters.

I remember watching this episode with my family as a sophomore, in
college, during some kind of break from school.

My 4 brothers and myself were sporting some of the biggest, baddest
Afro hairdos that you would ever want to see!

This episode was about AM helping a new African country retrieve
a stolen treasure that this country's new-found freedom was based
on; ancient scrolls that united the eight tribes of the country.

Well...we are sitting there, wrapped up in our "black pride",
all enthralled, because it was an African country, Black actors, etc.

When they called the name of the country as.....

"ZAM-BOO-TEE-CO"......

you could have bought us for a nickel!

We all fell out laughing because, we're thinking; come on...
couldn't the writers have done better creating a more believable name!

We laughed sooooooooooooo hard then.........and now when I watch
this on Hulu....I AM STILL LAUGHING!

GREAT MEMORIES!!!

"OOO...I'M GON' TELL MAMA!"

I can imagine the whole scene. It sounds hilarious.

Any country that has Boo-tee in the middle of it can't be all bad, though!
