MeTV, seems to have absolutely no respect at all for this classic cop show. Sundays at 6pm, H 5-0,will be going up squarely against the NFL doubleheader games on CBS or Fox through Jan. Traditionally ratings for that second set of games are much higher than the 1 pm ET games which begin earlier in the day on Sundays. It's not a stretch to surmise that the ratings for H 5-0 will be putrid going up against unquestionably the most popular sport in the USA. Also airing but once per week they'll barely cover two seasons worth of episodes for an entire year.
Does it mean that they'll keep airing "The Love Boat" and other garbage shows during the morning M - F daily time slots when they changed the schedule back in late May?
People can always record it on their DVR's, but that doesn't show in the ratings. I never liked The Love Boat, either, but it looked like it didn't take much brains or talent to put together, despite the cast. At least Gavin MacLeod and Bernie Koeppel deserved better.
It's just like the flakes who say Hogan's Heroes and F-Troop weren't funny, but adore The Dick Van Dyke Show.
