that's right, i keep forgetting there are two blofelds in this so to say, but i enjoyed charles gray's portrayal of blofeld in "diamonds are forever", by the way, both he and connery looked very different only four years later in that movie. i'm surprised no one has brought this up, but look at connery when he's getting a massage, it looks like he has dark pants on, i've hardly ever seen anyone so hairy, maybe everyone were busy looking at the girls around him to notice. i remember reading about this line we're talking about and how people were confused about it and wondered if it was an error in the dialogue. it's always interesting to hear what regular people who aren't movie critics or film buffs think, someone told me it's a pity only connery and moore are fun to watch and the great bonds, and even though i'm a bond fan i have to agree, the recent ones are like cardboards trying to look tough. when bond says "bad for your liver" and gets the reply "nonsense" must be insulting and sound obnoxious to anyone with liver issues. wow, some of the dubbing in this is obvious, strange considering how detailed and high quality these movies are, but right away you're struck what a great soundtrack this movie has, miss moneypenny works great with both connery and moore, something was lost in 1987 when so much of the original cast was lost that you had grown accustomed to with the bond franchise, only q remained and barry making his last bond soundtrack, and how long did they keep the next moneypenny, two flicks.
