that's from Henderson, Bond's contact who gets murdered. did anyone think that was a hint to Henderson being gay? I only thought so because of his effeminate demeanor (talking about decor, his robe, the lack of women around-"confirmed bachelor"), which was the clue back then for homosexuality (especially regarding the 007 novels; Fleming was not the most enlightened author). Maybe I'm reading too much into it but the delivery of the "among other things" line instantly flagged the gaydar.
