This movie really needs to be put on DVD. It needs to be better known.

I would absolutely love to find this on DVD. Have you been able to see this? I was a huge fan of "Ellery Queen" and was very saddened by Jim Hutton's early passing. His talent lives in his son Tim, but I also get a very eerie feeling when I see him because he's the complete embodiment of his father.

I was able to get a VHS copy of this and I do adore this movie. Yes, I agree that Jim Hutton did die way too early in life. I would like to see more of Tim Hutton's work, in particular, the episode of "Leverage" where he is Ellery Queen for that hour. Apparently, that episode is a tribute to his father. :) He does look a lot like his dad, but I still think his dad was sexier. :)

Thanks for mentioning that episode of "Leverage" where Timothy pays tribute to Jim. I'll seek it out. I have trouble keeping up with recent movies and TV shows, especially now that a lot of actors seem prolific at both.

I have trouble keeping up with recent stuff as well. Someone brought that episode to my attention a few weeks ago. I would like to see it.

I do love "Who's Minding the Mint", but I did find that it was a bit too preachy at the end. I would have preferred a funnier ending. Still, the scenes where the gang is in the mint are extremely funny. I'm glad I checked out this movie!

This film needs to be better known! Unfortunately, it's not remembered as well as "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World". Actually, I think that "Who's Minding the Mint" is the funnier of the two movies.

It is on VHS. You might be able to find a VHS copy online....

Thanks for the tip. I see Amazon.com has used VHS's starting at $3. I have a few good brick-and-mortar video stores and Goodwill shops near me, and I'm hoping to find it there.

You might also want to try some local video stores which are closing in your area (if any). You might be able to buy their copy of it (if they have it).

Woah yes, I've bought out a lot of the video stores in my area that have gone out of business. It's always sad when that happens, and I wish it didn't come to that, but those films are going to a very loving home. ;-)

Fortunately, I think the few video stores that remain near me are on relatively solid ground for now – at least I hope so, and I continue to support them.
