There needs to be a DVD of this Movie.

Wow Can't belive I am the First to write on this Movie. I caught it a few years ago on TV. What a Riviting movie afterwords I read the book and It started me on my Love for the Westren Type books. Hope they bring it out on DVD some day I would even except a Cheep $1 version of the movie.

A great movie if you ever get the chance to watch it. Specialy with Henry Fonda as a Evil Gunslinger. This movie makes His Character in "Once Upon a Time in the West" look like a Sweetheart.

Sounds like a good idea. I think I'll make one when it's on TCM tonight! :-)

I think the first poster was a little confused about one part...this IS a great film that needs to be released on dvd soon. But one thing...Fonda's not the villain in this one. He was only bad in Once Upon a Time in the West, Firecreek, and (in a way) Fort Apache.

Great film, i saw this one the first time when i was a kid when TNT used to show westerns every afternoon when i got home from school. Hadn't seen it in years and thanks to DVR i recorded it last night off TCM. Just as great as i remember i'm watching it right now...the bad guy was really chilling. Almost totally mute in the film, he still scares the hell out of you.

My Mistake I will take it back he wasn't evil. Still this needs to be out on DVD soon.

Warner Home Archive is releasing this film as a "burned on demand" DVD-R title; you can now pre-order it on their website.
