Okay what's with the goat bleating?

The character Hilb bleated like a goat during certain scenes. What was the story behind that?


Also one reviewer wrote "Sergeant Foggers and two Confederate soldiers" - where did he get that two of the men were Confederates? There was nothing in the film that indicated that. Only Sergeant Foggers was in the army, and that was the 1884 US Army.

Other than that I enjoyed this film. I also enjoyed Roger Miller's song.
