I always enjoyed David Janssen in The Fugitive and here he plays a similar role, but wow, did that guy age fast. Apparently he was around thirty-six when he made this movie but he looks a good decade older, and some of the lighting in the shots emphasizes this in most unflattering fashion. That said, I enjoyed the movie and his performance.

I also remember The Fugitive but mabe I'm melding it too much with his later series. I only saw classic Janssen.

Every third person who complains will be shot. Two people have complained already!

He was a heavy drinker & smoker. Those things speed up the aging process.

William Holden -- called 'Golden Holden' in the 1950's (a decade he owned) -- went through the same process, and looked like warmed-over death by the time he died in 1981.
