Did the War Wagon really exist?

I've tried on the internet to find out if the was a war wagon in the Old West, but couldn't find a thing. If one of you happens across a website that features a war wagon that ACTUALLY EXISTED in the Old West, please tell me, otherwise it is ALL fiction regarding the war wagon.

It seems that this is correct. There was limited use of boxy wooden wagons https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_wagon as early military armored transports before the use of modern firearms as this was enough to stop arrows and spears. Of course they could be stopped by killing the draft animals (as could the movie War Wagon).

Since the War Wagon was primarily a transportation rather than a combat vehicle, there was no way that it could be made both fast and bulletproof given the limited horsepower and the suspension and wheel technology available at the time.

It dates back to the medieval and classical era. I think the Koreans were noted for perfecting the concept during their medieval period.
