her 50s style whining was completely at odds with the tense atmosphere and tough animistic villains.

She was full of sht. I wanted Mr. Roat to stab her 100 times just for the hell of it.

lol, hahahahha. thats a bit extreme. but i sympathize.

1967 really wasn't much different, as far as people's whining was concerned, from the 1950s.

The villains didn't seem to be particularly spiritual, or to attribute spirituality to inanimate objects.
