Watched it again over this past weekend. When Arkin jumps and grabs her leg I nearly jumped out of my chair. Whew scary moment well done

I saw it in a theater in 1967 and damned near everybody in the place, including me, fell out of their chairs. I saw it on TCM an hour ago and even though I knew the moment was coming, it still startled me.
