Next Best Thing to DVD

One of my favorite films, that should make the top ten list of all true romantics
There is a gorgeous widescreen version of this film on Laserdisc. This version also has an unabashed audio commentary by the director, Stanley Donen. From his insightful and revealing narrative, you can tell he was absolutely captivated by and in love with Audrey Hepburn...but then again, who wasn't.
Donen, who also directed Charade, Singin' in the Rain and the delightfully camp and totally overlooked, Movie Movie (1978), doesn't get the credit, attention or DVDs he deserves. Since the widescreen version and commentary exist, it will probably come out on DVD eventually.
If you can't wait for the DVD, contact me and maybe we can swap films.

Also I'm looking for any complete copy of Movie Movie (1978) and
Two for the Road screenwriter, Frederic Raphael, wrote a story that was dramatized as a 1984-85 BBC mini-series titled Oxbridge Blues. It replayed on PBS in the US and I have been looking for a copy of the first episode, also called Oxbridge Blues forever.
