Ok it's not a great film but it's v unique and interesting one. i feel it's just as important to see this as it is easy rider. Peter Fonda does an excellent job and i find the scenes where he gets the child a glass of milk and the scene in the laundrette v amusing. The trip illustrates what it is like to be on LSD in an effective way and u get a sense of what it would be like to be under the influence. v risky and not a good place to go, see this film though!
shareIf you obey the rules of set and setting, the risk is massively reduced, and it is actually a very fun place to go-ecstatic, sensual. All senses enhanced. Interesting, introspective. Music sounds incredible. A lot of fun at raves.
This film was weird, and looks pretty dated by todays standards. I appreciate what they were trying to do, but trying to put the LSD experience into film format is doomed from the start. Words can't effectively describe the state either-its so far removed from normal, everyday reality.
