Details on Katherine Walsh/Lulu's murder?

According to imdb, Katherine Walsh ("Lulu," Dennis Hopper's gorgeous girlfriend in The Trip) was murdered in London in 1970. This is both sad and disturbing, mostly due to the unanswered questions. Why? By who? I've searched the Web to no avail -- no info at all. Even listening to the commentary on The Trip DVD, the director barely remembers the actress's name, and says, "I'm not sure what happened to her..."

If anyone has any more info on how and why she was killed, please share.

I couldn't find anything out about this either. You may need to access the homicide records in London. That may be difficult on the Web. Let me know if you find out anything.
