sorta dull

Promised more than it delivered.

Most sensual scene...girl flopping back on the bed in her 80's bra.

Most stupid...okay we're gonna search your place now so put your nose in this chlorophyll whilst we do.

You must have the proper attitude to enjoy this film. Just sit back and let it all unfold. Its a completely different era. I loved it.

Big Sinatra fan and loved his movies, was really looking forward to watching this. Had not seen it in many years and was looking forward to it, have to say was very disappointed and dull.

I love 50- 60s movies this one was had no bite at all to it. I watched it through b/c of Sinatra (and Rat Pack slut Jill SJ was hot) that it!

The pussy that talked was hilarious. And the film looked beautiful. If you have a will to be weird watch this film.

I liked it :) ..But i'm a Jill St. John fan..i'd watch anything with her in it.

Dull? Nah. Besides, it's one of the best movies to watch for those of us who want to see Miami as it was, circa 1967. I also see the movie as the last gasp of Miami's glory days, just before the rot of the 1970s. I love this and "Lady in Cement."

Never a dull moment in this movie. It's like a Raymond Chandler plot updated to the ring-a-ding-ding sixties and transplanted to the sunshine state. A perfect vehicle for Sinatra, who was probably connected to some Miami investment capital that wanted the exposure. In those days, when air travel was for the very rich, there were many of us who enjoyed a picture like this just for the exotic location. The one-liners are better than most Bond movies. But it's always funny to watch Sinatra running after a fleeing suspect.

are you going to bark all day little doggie,, or are you going to bite

I enjoyed it. It felt like an update of older film-noirs but for the sixties. Frank Sinatra was so cool and he had so many one-liners. Jill St. John was so hot in this. Even the second to last shot is her great ass bending over. Damn!

Good way of describing this. I think Point Blank with Lee Marvin is another good example.

reply

Did you see the sequel, Lady In Cement? I think it's just as good. It's a little bit funnier.

reply

Yeah the blu-ray from Twilight Time with both movies is pretty good. Now I want to watch them again, back to back. It's been a while since I saw them.

A few other 1960s "neo-noir" movies I thought of:
Le Samouraï
Tokyo Drifter
The Killers
