Dead On Arrival Attempts At Humor

Before I read the reviews(usually very good), I make comments based on my reactions. These reviewers are usually more adroit/talented than me. Like movies with Vernian machines/gadgets, and RTTM does a nice job exibiting such. But the jokes fall flat and the eyerolling begins early on. Fell asleep trying to watch this. That tells me the pace was too slow and the ideas were not presented in an interesting way. Also, Burl Ives and Troy Donahue are on the boring side, at least in RTTM.

At least From The Earth To The Moon had trainwreck lead characters that makes one watch to see how they will crash and burn.
