Can anyone tell me what the music is that George Lucas used in this film? I saw this film years ago and the music sounded very familiar to me, as though I had heard it years ago and the melody stuck with me.
I really think as a student film, this is extrodinary and imaginative even for the current day.... but the feature film that is coming on DVD will truly tell this story and show visuals that this student film only imagined.
the music's familiar because it's created from old classicals. have you heard a good ammount of classical music? then you have probably heard just about every single type of music there is today. it's all based off of that.
some good ones are pachelbel's canon in D, or maybe rossini's overtures, or if you want to go even back farther you can listen to bach's toccata and fugue.
The music from the beginning of the film is Johann Sebastian Bach's "Passacaglia and Fugue in C-Minor."
