The book , the movie...

Finally,I was able to watch the movie on youtube in English.

I had read the book first in French and then in English when I was 18 years old.

Camus has always been one of my favorite authors. I had always wanted to see a movie adapted from this magnificent book.

Marcello Masterioni deliveres a great performance and the movie was very well made by Visconti.

I never forget the first sentence of the book: " TODAY, I RECEIVED A TELEGRAM THAT MY MOTHER WAS DEAD." It has stuck in my mind eversince.
