Will this film ever get a Region1 DVD release?

I looked for "The Sorcerers" on the UK Amazon website and discovered it's now unavailable. There's one Amazon Marketplace seller who is selling the OOP Sorcerers dvd for close to fifty pounds, which is too steep for me.

Why hasn't this film gotten a Region 1 dvd release yet?

Other British horror films that are long overdue for Region 1 releases:

Twins of Evil
Hands of the Ripper
The Gorgon
Vampire Circus
Never Take Sweets from a Stranger (not straight horror but more horrific than Hammer's gothic horror films)
The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll
Shadow of the Cat
The Blood on Satan's Claw
The Asphyx - I missed this the first time it was out on dvd. I hope this gets another dvd release soon.

This thread is a little (/lot) old now, I know, but the DVD seems to turn up on eBay UK quite a bit. I've found a copy on there now for 50p, so the film's around if you look for it.

I find it funny someone was trying to sell it on Amazon for almost £50. I seriously doubt anyone bought it because whilst I really like the film it's no way worth that amount, and it doesn't even have many special features on the disc. I think I paid £3 brand new in a shop a few years ago (actually I don't think I've gotten around to unwrapping it yet!).

Get the French one! It's superior, it's available new, and it's only €9.99

How great to look at this post in 2013 (!) and see that all but 2 of these have since been released in the US on DVD and/or blu-ray.
