Remember the 3D version???

I was 10 years old when I saw this movie at the theater. It was playing as one movie of a double feature to the immortal HGL classic, "The Gruesome Twosome". We had never seen anything so graphic before. Every kid in the theater screamed constantly during the Gruesome Twosome, but I seem to recall there being some 3D segments during Something Weird, which was nothing more than some kids with rubber masks on, waving sticks at the audience. Does anybody else out there remember this?

Something Weird was not shot in 3-D or featuring any brief segments in 3-D. At the time of its production and release the 3-D format was not in favor, and there weren't any theaters showing 3-D around 1967 or the late 1960s, either single strip or the old 2-projector method. 3-D didn't make a comeback until some minor porno (PRISON GIRLS)& action films (DYNASTY) in the mid-'70s, followed by the BIG revival in 1981 with COMIN' AT YA and its many imitators.
