I have seen this movie when i was a teenager and i had never forgotten it. I would like to get a copy and if anyone could help me, it would be great !
I have tried to get a copy in France where i am living but impossible because it is not available !

I saw this movie in the early 1970s. It was very good. Why isn't it available on DVD or VHS? It was part of the momentary flowering of eastern European culture under communist rule in the 1970s. It reminds me also of Time Stands Still, When Father Was Away on Vacation, Knife in the Water, Man of Iron, Man of Marble and several other eastern european films of that era. Some directors of this era came to Hollywood and had successful careers. This film seems to have sunk into obscurity.

There are numerous copies on internet, it's not exactly legal but it would be a bigger crime not to watch it than to pirate it. If you are interested and have trouble finding it leave email contact and ill send you links for download. Movie is in serbian/gypsy mix (its original language, it isn't dubbed), there is also a polish dub but why would you want that. English subtitles are available so no worries there.
