TCM's Shane and 100 Great Westerns

Hey guys,

As some of you know Turner Classic Movies has been showing westerns all month long, hosted by Keith Carradine.

Unfortunately, I missed many movies this month. I watch TCM particularly for the intros and conclusions before and after each movie.

I missed the conclusions for The Shooting and Little Big Man. If someone can be kind enough to tell me what Keith Carradine discussed for these films after they ended, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

H, I can only help you with The Shooting. When it ended, Carradine mentioned that two men produced this film, the director and Jack Nicholson. (Now I paraphrase) This being the first of many movies Jack Nicholson produced, he being a real 'jack of all trades'. His first being The Two Jakes, the sequel to Chinatown. Although Nicholson is best known for his acting, was nominated for 13 Academy Awards, (I think 13, I may not remember correctly.) the most for any male, he has won three.

The he just said "Up next, another western..." and my DVR cut out.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!

Btw, did you happen to DVR any other westerns shown earlier in the month like The Magnificent Seven, The Wild Bunch, Stagecoach, Ride the High Country, The Naked Spur, etc.?
