region 2 dvd?

this is a famous film,probably the directors best known but can I buy a region 2 dvd? no not seen one in years.
There is a boxed set of the directors films but this film is not on it.
Anybody know why? legal issues?

I bought one from amazon, it's a korean/ english version all regions. Works great.

thanks,proves my point,every other film by this director in on dvd in the UK.
