Can' you believe some of the reviewers here? It's almost like they wished Don Knotts had done "deep, intellectual humor". Yeah, this movie was cheap, but so what? Knotts was Hilarious! You don't need a big budget when the star is funnier AND MORE TALENTED then Adam Sandler, Jim Carry & Will Ferrell combined. So there,

I went to see this in the local theater with my sister when we were kids. I thought it was hilarious and we totally enjoyed it. There was no deep serious message, just a lot of what used to be called "good clean fun". Our mom didn't have to worry about the film's rating or if we were seeing something inapropriate. You always knew a Don Knotts movie meant clean laughs and a lot of them!
